CD 26

So today is CD 26 and who knows what DPO I am. It can be anywhere between 12dpo and 8dpo. So I POAS today because today was the day that AF should have come if I o'd on CD 14 like FF said. Well, today was a bust and I got a BFN. I know that I am not out until AF shows. I am just trying to remain hopeful and positive that this will be our month. Here is my chart.

I think I o'd probably on CD 15 or 16, though the 17th and 18th are also plausible. That's why I still have some hope remaining because I am definitely not out of this fight yet. Stupid illness. LOL. Damn man, of all the times to be sick. =P I also slept in today because I stayed up late last night to watch some shows with DH. I needed it and didn't want to wake up to a temp drop so I just said screw it and decided sleep was worth it.

Pasta with Zucchini
So that's where I am at both mentally and physically right now. So this week I decided to make a few new recipes that I found on pinterest. They were so delicious. I always doctor my stuff though. So the other night I made this deliciousness. Pasta with greek yogurt and vegetables.  The recipe can be found here http://www.ezrapoundcake.com/archives/13338

It can also be found on my pintrest account which is linked on the sidebar. I added green onions and squash as well as using 6 blend Italian cheese. I also added more garlic, lemon zest, salt and pepper to it. It was so yummy and packed full of veggies. I also used bowtie pasta instead of noodles. I just like the more compact noodles in dishes like this.

baked Garlic Chicken puffsLast night, I made Garlic Chicken puffs. Let me tell you that they were pretty darn awesome. The recipe can also be found on my pintrest account or  by going here http://tastykitchen.com/recipes/appetizers-and-snacks/garlic-chicken-puffs/. Instead of making two cans I only used 1 since it was just for DH and myself for dinner last night. I cooked a rotisserie chicken the night before for dinner so tonight I used the leftovers to make this. Great way to reuse leftovers to make something new!  I also made them bigger than the picture shows. They actually looked like croissants. I used the Pillsbury flaky butter croissants and added more more garlic, sea salt and freshly ground pepper to the mix but it was delicious none the less. They were also very portable.I could see how the smaller versions could be a huge hit at parties.

Working on my next project still. I am kind of at a loss motivation to make something right now just because I don't know what I want to make. Actually, I know what I want to make.  I want to make soap. I just don't know how yet and still doing research on it. So for now, I am experimenting with a little soap making kit I bought from Michaels as well as making salt scrub and sugar scrub as Birthday presents for my mom and her bff.  I wanted to make a coconut oil soap for them but I am still working out how to do it and how to get my hands on all the ingredients I will need. Especially the older crock pot (for the crock pot Castile soap on my pinterest) and a hand mixer to aid in the soapaponification (sp) process. I don't want to spend big bucks so I have been lurking the local thrifts stores hoping that one will fall in my lap.

Sorry that I haven't updated in a few days. I have been fighting with my internet provider lately and I have been surfing from my phone. I hate blogging from my phone because I hate the blogger app. Quite irritating to use when I add lots of gifs and pictures to my blog posts. Well, the repairman guy cam and jerry rigged it so I can at least use it for now. So there is a small happy. Oh well, with that thought I am going to go clean my house.

  1. Thanks, KK! The pictures don't even do it justice. Both were so freaking good. I'm actually craving them both at the moment. Too bad we killed all of the puffs last night. :sad face!: Guess I'll just have to make something else =D

  2. Okay - so I like CD 17 except there isn't any Fertile CM and your OPK was positive on CD15. Is that normal for you? FX - you're always in my T&P's!

    1. Thanks Sabrina. You're very sweet for keeping me in your T&P's. It is greatly appreciated. I don't normally get a lot of Fertile CM when I O. I have a lack thereof most of the time since I normally take antihistamines. I stopped taking them because I was sick and even took Mucanex because of the sickness and it didn't even make a dent in anything. I don't normally O on the day I get a positive OPK. Usually it is 2-3 days later. So it's par for the course. I switched my O date on FF to overide for the 16th since it was in the middle. I would say It was probably the 17th or 18th now since I haven't gotten AF yet.
<3 xoxo and you are in my thoughts as well lady!
